Twelve

Everyone makes New Year's Resolutions. Personally, I don't. I never keep them so why set myself up for failure, right?

However, that doesn't mean I can't make some goals to meet for the new year that are of the crafty sort. These are fun and so much better than trying to start working out or giving up chocolate. Who wants to do that?!

Twelve Goals for 2014

1. Sell my creations at a local craft bazaar.
March 23, 2013 this goal was completed. However, it was not the most successful venue, but I still did it and made at least $65 dollars. I'm not giving up just yet on doing a craft show.

2. Market myself to local shops - this one is going to be hard for me to do. I don't like putting myself out there for people to tell me no.

3. Keep my craft room a little bit more organized and neat.

4. Find ways to better package my cards/coasters/magnets/jewelry.

5. Make "broken China" jewelry.
The first thing off of my list! I have some pendants in progress and plan on making some earrings as well!

6. Complete a picture-a-day mini book or equivalent - maybe out of that awesome old blue book that I showed you in my last post.

7. Attend every bake sale that my church holds to help raise money for our Relay For Life team.

8. Make some gift sets that I've seen on Pinterest.

9. Make some embellishments to sell.

10. Sell at least $500 worth of product.
I'll just say my hard work and time was well worth it. =)

11. Practice using my Spectrum Noir markers - they are like Copics but a lot less expensive.

12. More glitter coasters and try using caviar beads on my coasters.
I made some pink glitter coasters (more colors to be made in the future) and the caviar beads just do NOT work well. They really aren't the best to work with either. They bounce around too much and get everywhere!

13. More Smash*ing!!

14.  Finish a photo challenge.

15. Try to get published in a craft magazine.

17. Finish wrecking my "Wreck This Journal."

Alright, these are my goals and I will keep everyone posted on my progress. Wish me luck!
