...better late than never.

I just wanted to share some Valentine's Day cards that I made. I know it's kinda late but oh well. It's my blog and I'll post cards that are for Christmas if I want to. =)

There has been tons going on lately with buying a house and I love my new job. Everything is going pretty well. Can't complain. Enjoy and leave feedback. I love it!

Sock Monkey.

Meet Sock Monkey. Sock Monkey is our Boxer's favorite toy. As you can see, Brody, doesn't like to play nice with Sock Monkey. Actually, this is sock monkey number 2. Sock Monkey number 1 didn't make it.

Sock Monkey has no ears, no arms, a large chunk taken out of his head, one eye and several stitches on other parts of his body. Poor Sock Monkey. He's not looking too good and he is on his last leg, literally.

I had to take a picture of this because I think it's pretty funny how miserable this thing looks but Brody loves him. I have to do a layout on this photo. It's way too good to pass up. Hopefully, they don't stop making these ridiculous things or our poor dog will be pretty lonely. His other toys just don't compare.

You're My Sweetheart.

This is the newest card that I cam up with and I have to say that this is one of my favorites! I love how it all came together. I used Martha Stewart heart embellies and the "sweethearts" is a rub-on from K&Company. I purchased all of these things at Michael's. The chipboard is actually a backing from a pad of paper. Recycling is good. =)

Simply SMASHing.

I was having some difficulty on what to write about. I haven't blogged in several days because as I've said before my life is just not that exciting. I haven't made anything or done anything worth sharing. Ok. I did quit my job. That's something you don't do everday and I'm very proud of myself. Anyway, that's a different story. Now, to what I really want to share...SMASH journals. I can't really find anything on them except this video that I stumbled across from THIS blog. Watch the video on SMASH journals on YouTube. I CANNOT wait for these to be available. I love to scrapbook but I like making cards better and these journals are great for quick stuff like magazine clippings or snapshots or movie/concert tickets. I'm so excited. They need to hurry up with these things!
